Dear Band Parents,

    This will be the 5th year that the Carroll Band Boosters will collect the parking fees at Dragon Stadium. The Band Boosters and CISD share the proceeds of this venture equally. We now have four year’s worth of experience to draw on. In general, we were very successful in satisfying all the various groups that interact with us to get the job done safely and efficiently. These include the stadium personnel, Athletic Department, Southlake DPS, CISD Administration and all of our great Dragon fans. The parents who came out to help during the last four years had a great time, and we thank everyone for their time and effort.

    Experience shows that we need approximately 40 people per game to cover all of the necessary tasks. We convene at the stadium beginning at 4:15-4:30pm on game days and finish up around 7:30pm, the normal start-time for the games. Parent volunteers still have plenty of time to be in the stadium to see most of the game and all of the half time marching show. We would like to enlist as many volunteers as possible to give everyone a chance to join us in the fun and help our Band Program! The five home games this year will be September 5th, 12th and 27th, October 24th and November 7th (plus possible playoff games involving other schools).

    The has proven to be a substantial source of income for the Band Boosters and the District has been kind enough to provide this opportunity exclusively to the Band Boosters, as we have the largest parent group available. Besides, this is a very easy and fun way to support the Dragon Band and meet other band parents.

Please volunteer to help the Band Boosters and get involved in this lucrative project!
